Invitational means you’re invited unless you’re uninvited.
Restricted means anyone not an Open player.
If you’re unsure, just ask one of the director’s.

We may limit either division to manageable bracket numbers (i.e. 16, 24, etc.) To ensure your spot, please RSVP. However, to assist in creating reasonable brackets for a smooth and timely tournament experience, the director’s may move players (based on their skill level) up or down divisions, as necessary.

We use ABT rules. This means dice on checkers are good and legal moves. For further details, see http://usbgf.org/docs/rules.pdf

Mickey’s opens at 11:00. There is often a Chouette before and after the tournament.

* Match lengths are based on 16 person brackets. The directors may adjust them to suit the actual number signed up. For example, an 8 person bracket might be 2 points longer.

Win with Grace / Lose with Class / Play with Passion

NOTE: The director reserves the right to change the format of any event to maximize the experience for the players.  Colorado Backgammon Association reserves the right to refuse entry into the tournament with no reason required. No entrant will be allowed to play below his or her level.
